In order to keep to local farming practice,
the choice of vine naturally led to those noble varieties
which had the "Provençal fibre"!

Mourvèdre,

The main variety, Mourvèdre,
makes up 97% of the Domaine's red wine grapes :

this grape likes the heat and needs water.
It provides a taste of resin, pine and garrigue.

The other 3% is Syrah, for its dash of saltiness.

Rolle,

The main variety for the Courtade white wines is Rolle, at 95% :

fragile and diaphanous, capricious yet superb,
it exudes exotic flavours of citrus fruits and bitter almonds.
