In itself, this was a bad year.
We produced 30 hl, which is 4000 bottles of Courtade Rouge. A number of professionals thought this wine had no future. However, I still have 40 odd bottles in my cellar and each time I open an 87
it is, like the majority of 87 wines, a real pleasure. If you still have any of this wine left, now is the time to enjoy it. |

A fine vintage, dense and feral.
A wine that you can allow to wait a little longer. |

|
Another fine wine with extra elegance.
If you still have some left, treat yourself at Christmas and fool your friends by putting it in a carafe. 1989 for me is like a beautiful young woman, with everything that should be there where it should be. |

A fantastic vintage.
Can still be kept as it's very good, even too good, because there's none left. |

A very complex vintage that I have never liked
because it made life impossible for me during the wine-making process. I only like it when I am given it blind, and that reassures me each time. |

If I had to give the 92 wine a mark I'd be very embarrassed.
It's one of those good wines without problems. 1992 is also a little strange in its unusual maturing, because it didn't reveal its features until very late. It remained closed and firm for a very long time. |

The vintage, my vintage.
I have to admit that I've drunk a few bottles. An extra super wine which can be laid down for a long time. If you haven't got any, too bad, I'm afraid it's too late. |

The most brutish and the most forthright,
this is the black sheep of the family. It's comparable to 1992. It has at least 10 years before it. |

This is pure elegance. It made itself by itself without
any problem.
If poetry had a flavour and a smell, they would certainly be that of 95. After many years and bottles here, I can compare it to 1989. |

It's still in barrels. A very virile, deep and hard wine.
It's the most "macho" of the band. I like it a lot because it's a bit different.

The eleventh candle. It made us tremble and shiver at first,
but finished with a happy ending as it has a lot of skin, little juice
and a high degree.
We're hoping that if we aren't the prize-winners at the Cannes Festival, we'll
at least be nominated. |
