Once upon a time a child discovered the island of his dreams
and fell in love with it. Thus begins the simple story of a man
who loved an island. This love led him to create an estate to glorify nature on one of the loveliest plains on Porquerolles.
He gathered together a team of skilled and talented people
who have the same feelings for this unique place
and for the art of wine making.

In 1983, the Domaine de la Courtade was formed :
30 acres of cosseted vines and an olive grove consisting of 800 trees, some of which are over 1000 years old.
There are buildings, too, the colour of the sunshine,
reflecting the soul of the island and the wine.
